Role Overview:
The Accounting Manager is pivotal in overseeing the on-site accounting team that serves dealership clients and department leaders. This role encompasses responsibility for the dealership's financial health, guiding overall financial strategy, budgeting, and accounting practices. As with all roles within our dealerships, managers are expected to maintain the highest ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage daily with dealership leaders to address issues between the shared processing center and dealership management.
  • Conduct routine assessments of operational reports in accordance with Asbury standards.
  • Support dealership staff with general human resource inquiries.
  • Supervise the compliance administrator and assist with deal flow and resolution of problematic deals and CIT issues.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor the compliance administrator.
  • Collaborate with the title service provider to rectify documentation challenges.
  • Participate in management meetings concerning dealership operations, deal flow, and CIT.
  • Ensure dealership leaders adhere to Asbury policies and procedures, reporting any deviations to the Market Controller.
  • Possess a minimum of two years of experience in accounting or office management, preferably within the automotive sector.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and investigative skills.
  • Exhibit proficiency in computer applications; familiarity with ADP and other financial software is advantageous.
  • Work independently while effectively communicating with all levels of management, staff, and vendors.
  • Be process and solutions-oriented, with a keen analytical and detail-focused mindset.
  • Exhibit strong people management and leadership capabilities.
  • Meet the minimum age requirement of eighteen years.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug tests).
