Position Overview
The Finance Manager - Studio Operations is responsible for enhancing the financial framework of our aesthetic studios. This role entails effective budgeting, comprehensive financial reporting, and meticulous cost management. Collaboration with regional managers and various stakeholders is essential to optimize financial outcomes and support strategic operational initiatives.


Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the VP of Finance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Budgeting and Financial Strategy:
    • Formulate and oversee studio-specific budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with operational objectives.
    • Collaborate with regional managers to compile and validate budget inputs for accurate financial planning.
  • Financial Reporting and Insights:
    • Generate and evaluate financial reports for studio operations, including profit and loss statements and sales analytics.
    • Deliver actionable insights derived from financial data to assist studio managers in enhancing performance and profitability.
    • Utilize analytical tools to create engaging financial dashboards that showcase key performance indicators.
  • Cost Management:
    • Oversee and regulate studio expenditures, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
    • Review and authorize studio spending, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and company policies.
  • Operational Financial Support:
    • Work closely with operations to assess financial performance, including sales patterns and inventory management.
    • Offer financial recommendations aimed at boosting studio profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Data Management:
    • Streamline financial data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.
    • Implement data integration processes to enhance financial reporting capabilities.
  • Process Enhancement:
    • Identify and apply best practices in financial processes to improve operational accuracy.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of financial procedures and controls.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Engage with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with broader business goals.
    • Provide training and support to studio staff on financial processes and systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or professional certifications are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management, ideally within the retail or service industry.
  • Strong grasp of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and reporting, with the capability to translate complex data into practical insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with analytical tools is preferred.
