Help Desk - Tier II
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Secret clearance is mandatory
- Proven experience as a Tier II Help Desk or Desktop Support Administrator
- Minimum of 3 years in desk-side support, help desk, or IT support roles
- At least 1 year of experience with the Remedy Ticketing system (ARS) or similar platforms
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Background in providing Tier 1 desktop technical assistance
- Proficiency with Windows 10 Operating Systems and Office 2013
- Familiarity with Microsoft SCCM and desktop imaging processes
- Experience with virtual infrastructure (e.g., VMWare) is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to engage with Senior Government Leadership in a professional manner
- Current CompTIA Security+ CE certification is required
- A Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver technical assistance encompassing client hardware and software support
- Address customer inquiries and issues via telephone, email, or the Remedy ticketing system
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer problems using remote control software or other tools when feasible
- Provide hands-on support for users at their workstations and docking stations, addressing both hardware and software challenges
- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot printers, computer hardware, Windows 10 OS, Office 2013, and other authorized desktop applications
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on computers, laptops, printers, and other authorized peripherals
- Monitor, manage, and restore service to client personal computers (PCs) or laptops with authorized network access
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate Tier 3 Support team members when necessary
