Insurance Sales Representative

At AAA Western and Central New York, we're committed to delivering exceptional service to our members. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you'll play a vital role in helping us achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales: Actively sell relevant insurance products and services to our members, focusing on closing sales and meeting monthly and annual scorecard goals.
- Quotes: Create and work leads to generate quotes, with a focus on growing business across insurance product lines and meeting/exceeding outlined targets and goals.
- Retention: Build relationships with customers and execute strategies to retain business, actively engaging with customers on feedback and finding creative solutions to ensure outlined retention targets and goals are met.
- Answer Rate: Urgently answer customer requests and be available to assist customers in a timely fashion, effectively resolving member and customer concerns in-person or over the phone at the outlined expectations.
- Cross Recommendations: Offer a Club-focused sales approach and continuously promote all Club products/services, effectively selling AAA membership, credit card, home warranty offers, and other product/service offerings to meet/exceed outlined expectations.
- multiline: Proactively recommend bundled insurance policies, such as Auto with Home, Renters, Umbrella, etc., to grow the book of business and meet defined goals/targets.
- Personal Lines Insurance license, or obtain within 60-90 days of hire; required
- Responsible to obtain and maintain the required license or certification in an active status
- Able to display working knowledge of carrier offerings, processes, and requirements
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and events as required by business need/Leadership directive
- Working knowledge of computer software and ability to effectively navigate multiple systems
- Must be able to resolve problems and work under pressure to diffuse member concerns
- Work under pressure during periods of high volume
- Ability to multitask in various areas of insurance sales and service
The mid-market salary range for this position is $20.29 per hour to $23.00 per hour, plus a tiered compensation plan. Starting salary is dependent on several factors, including previous work experience, specific industry experience, and skills required.
