Bus Dispatcher

MV Transportation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bus Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing the day-to-day transit fixed route operation and ensuring safe, cost-effective, and on-time service delivery.

• Manage daily communication and interaction with drivers and clients to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor and report sign-in/sign-out times, route performance, and service issues to the Road Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, or General Manager as needed.
• Track and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and drivers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, drivers, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and productive working environment.

• 1+ year of experience in a dispatcher or customer service role, preferably in the transportation industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
