Industrial Sales Professional

Our client, a leader in the aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors, is seeking a skilled Outside Sales Representative to drive business growth and expand relationships with new and existing clients.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a territory growth plan, identifying new sales opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with current clients. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and can work independently to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a territory growth plan to identify and pursue new sales opportunities through in-person meetings, field calls, telephone, internet, referrals, and industry networking.
- Meet with prospective clients to secure new business and manage follow-up meetings to complete the sales process.
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships while consistently meeting sales targets.
- Forecast and track key account metrics such as quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering preferred; 10+ years of relevant experience may qualify in lieu of a degree.
- Proven sales track record within the Aerospace and Defense/Industrial sectors.
- Background in industrial or technical sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Strong ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and climbing.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.
