Clinical Development Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Development Director to lead our Hepatitis clinical development programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and input on clinical studies, supporting our hepatitis programs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead or assist on multiple components of clinical trial programs in Hepatitis clinical development.
- Design, conduct, and evaluate Phase 1-4 clinical trials and provide expertise in clinical hepatitis.
- Develop drugs for HBV cure and HDV.
- Collaborate with Clinical Leads and Global Development Team Leads on various aspects of ongoing clinical trial program-related activities within the hepatitis therapeutic area.
- MD/DO with 4+ years of clinical or biotech/pharma industry experience.
- PharmD or PhD in clinical research or clinical pharmacology with 8+ years' scientific and/or drug development experience.
- Experience in hepatitis D and/or B.
- Relevant experience in Hepatology.
- Experience working on cross-functional project teams in a global development team.
- Experience taking the lead on study concept and protocol design, regulatory filings, clinical publications, and presentations.
- Knowledge of FDA and EMA regulations, ICH guidelines, GCP, and familiarity with standard clinical procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of R&D and major disease areas.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
We offer a competitive salary range of $237,000 - $307,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and a benefits package.
