Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Specialist to join our team. As a Test Specialist, you will be responsible for the safe operation of our vehicles, ensuring that our automated driving technology meets the highest standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Latitude Test Vehicle safely and compliantly
  • Perform vehicle inspection, start-up, launch, and shutdown tasks
  • Follow procedures and processes to the highest standard
  • Escalate potential safety and performance issues promptly and clearly
  • Document events throughout the day to aid in development of driving technology
  • Communicate feedback on system performance, strengths, and improvement areas
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with two years of employment experience required
  • Valid Michigan driver's license and ability to meet Latitude AI's minimum driving record requirements
  • Ability to pass ten-panel drug screen and criminal background checks
  • Enjoyment of driving for extended periods of time
  • Ability to monitor software via laptop in a moving vehicle, type proficiently, and communicate clearly
  • Experience in a professional work environment where safety, honesty, procedure, and/or software testing are emphasized
Preferred Qualifications
  • Autonomous Vehicle and/or on-road data collection industry experience
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian Jira basics
