Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Customer Experience Coordinator to join our team at Marshalls. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience, overseeing a team of Associates, and ensuring prompt and courteous customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Create a positive internal and external customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
  • Team Leadership: Oversees a team of Associates at front of store, ensuring prompt and courteous customer service and promotion of loyalty programs.
  • Training and Development: Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front end principles, and trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs.
  • Operational Support: Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates.
  • Problem Resolution: Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Store Execution: Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan, prioritizes as needed, and communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities.
  • Adherence to Policies: Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, and promotes credit and loyalty programs.
  • Store Safety: Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Availability: Available to work flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Merchandising Knowledge: Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Teamwork: Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Leadership Experience: 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
