Job Summary

At DanSources, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Configuration Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications for analytical instruments. Your expertise in software configuration management will ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software applications for analytical instruments.
  • Collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers to plan, design, and develop electronic data processing systems.
  • Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems and determine computer user needs.
  • Prepare operating instructions and ensure software standards are met.
  • Work with engineers to forecast levels of efforts and timetables.

Requirements
  • Assembly, C, C++, C# with Object Oriented Design (OOA and OOD) experience.
  • Proficient in Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11, and Linux.
  • Experience with multi-threaded programming, real-time programming, and GUI development using Qt and open GL.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience
  • BS in Computer Science or EE, MSCS preferred.
  • Minimum 3-7 years of total work experience.
