At ABBTECH Professional Resources, we're seeking a highly skilled Software Application Engineer/Developer Lead to join our team. With a strong background in software development and leadership, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and testing applications software for analytical instruments.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-7 years of total work experience in software development, with expertise in Assembly, C, C++, C#, and Object-Oriented Design (OOA and OOD). They will also possess excellent communication skills and be proficient in MS Office. Familiarity with GUI development, real-time programming, and device drivers is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test applications software for analytical instruments
  • Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers
  • Determine computer user needs and analyze system capabilities to resolve problems
  • Prepare operating instructions and ensure software standards are met

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with GUI development
  • Familiarity with any type of spectrometry
  • Configuration management familiarity

Education

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or EE, with an MSCS preferred. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
