Job Description

General Overview:

Under the guidance of the Facilities Supervisor, this role is essential in maintaining a safe and efficient environment. The technician will ensure that all maintenance and repair tasks are executed promptly and accurately, supporting the operational needs of the organization.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to: Facilities Supervisor (FS)

Key Responsibilities:

The technician will provide comprehensive maintenance services, including but not limited to:

  • Regular monitoring of facilities, grounds, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and update the Permanent Task List.
  • Execution of planned maintenance and repair tasks as required.
  • Conducting general plumbing and electrical repairs that do not necessitate a license.
  • Performing light patchwork, painting, and drywall repairs.
  • Addressing and completing Work Orders submitted by staff members.
  • Setting up event spaces for both internal and external groups.
  • Assisting with landscaping and grounds upkeep.
  • Carrying out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Familiarity with maintenance, quality control, and safety protocols.
  • Working knowledge of facility machinery and equipment.

  • High ethical standards and a professional demeanor.
  • Willingness to learn and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong analytical skills, good judgment, and attention to detail.

Employment Details:

  • Part-Time, Non-Exempt position with available benefits.
  • Adherence to the company’s Employee Handbook is required.

Compensation:

Hourly wage ranges from $18.00 to $20.00.

Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401K plan, allowing employees to select coverage that meets their individual needs. Paid leave options may also be available as required by law.
