Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to facilities and equipment, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical equipment repair.
  • Act as a backup for the call person in case of emergency and respond in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Handle equipment safely to prevent accidents and demonstrate a good working knowledge of tools and their safe use.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner.
  • Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete reports as requested.
  • Inspect and maintain emergency power equipment, fire alarm systems, lighting systems, and plumbing systems.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.
