Position Summary
The Envelope Production Specialist is responsible for executing minor setup adjustments and conducting quality inspections of the envelope production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct minor machine setups efficiently, ensuring cleanliness prior to operation.
- Make necessary adjustments to guarantee product dimensions and quality; oversee production metrics.
- Carry out cutting operations and implement minor modifications as needed.
- Operate folding machinery and manage folder operations.
- Perform quality assurance checks according to established protocols.
- Gather finished products and package them as required.
- Assist with various departmental tasks as needed.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Safeguard sensitive company information.
- Promote a culture of quality and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.
- Keep management informed of relevant activities and issues affecting departmental objectives.
- Fulfill additional duties as necessary to support departmental and organizational goals.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of envelope manufacturing machinery and its operation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment.
- Capability to interpret written instructions for machine operation and product quality assurance.
- Proficient in basic mathematics.
- Dependability in attendance and punctuality.
- Exhibits a proactive approach to safety.
Work Schedule
Second Continuous Shift: 7 pm - 7 am (4 days on, 4 days off)
