Job Description

The Payroll Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our multi-state weekly payroll for our 10,000+ non-exempt employee population. This position requires a strong understanding of payroll processes and procedures, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other software applications.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process payroll data in UltiPro payroll system
  2. Review and process employee new hire/rehire information and terminations
  3. Evaluate garnishment compliance and perform necessary calculations
  4. Set up and process 401k plans
  5. Reconcile payroll and tax records
  6. Communicate daily with various locations regarding payroll matters
  7. Generate ad hoc Business Intelligence reports
  8. Analyze multiple worksite and labor statistics
