Perinatal Intensivist

We are seeking a skilled Perinatal Intensivist to join our team at United Surgical Partners International. This is a PRN Night shift position, and the ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

As a Perinatal Intensivist at our facility, you will be responsible for providing expert nursing care to critically ill newborns. Your primary goal will be to ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing standards, The Joint Commission, and all Federal and State regulations.

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You should be able to prioritize and organize your workload effectively to meet the needs of patients and the unit. Additionally, you will need to make decisions based on sound nursing judgment and have the ability to work well under pressure.

In terms of qualifications, we require a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas, as well as experience working in a hospital setting on a neonatal unit. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, but not mandatory. You should also be proficient in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Newborn Resuscitation Program (NRP), which can be obtained within 90 days of employment.
