Job Summary: As Senior Counsel, Employment and Litigation at Soleo Health, you will play a critical role in advising the Company on various employment-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide Expert Legal Guidance: Offer practical and business-oriented advice on employment issues, including hiring, performance management, terminations, leaves of absence, wage and hour, internal investigations, compensation, benefits, and privacy.
  • Facilitate Competitive Hiring: Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure the recruitment and hiring of the highest qualified staff, meeting the needs of our growing organization.
  • Draft and Review Contracts: Develop, revise, and review employment-related contracts and policies, ensuring they align with company goals and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Administrative and Arbitration Matters: Handle administrative and arbitration proceedings related to employee disputes, maintaining a fair and impartial approach.
  • Investigate and Resolve Claims: Investigate, negotiate, and resolve pre-litigation claims and administrative charges, minimizing risks and promoting positive outcomes.
  • Lead Employment-Related Litigation: Manage employment-related litigation, working closely with the legal team to ensure effective defense and resolution strategies.

Requirements:

  • JD Degree and Bar Admission: Hold a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to the US Bar.
  • Minimum 5-7 Years' Experience: Possess at least 5-7 years of experience in employment and benefits law, demonstrating expertise and a strong track record of success.
