**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Shifflett & Philips. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of QuickBooks and be able to provide financial support to a variety of clients in different industries.

The estimated salary for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage all aspects of general ledger accounting, including financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Process corporate bank account reviews and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Perform EOM and YE close routines, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  • Review payroll tax payments and filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Associate accounting degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with a CPA firm is preferred
  • Professional presentation and conduct is essential
  • Must be responsible and self-managed, with excellent follow-up and tracking skills and attention to detail
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in QuickBooks is required
