Job Responsibilities:
The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in:

  • Providing analytical support to Asset Management, focusing on operational strategies, valuations, and buy/sell analyses.
  • Assisting Acquisitions by underwriting and evaluating potential real estate transactions.
  • Utilizing advanced computer skills to develop and refine financial projections, while effectively communicating these analyses to internal teams and external clients.

Key Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Real Estate, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A solid understanding of real estate investments, with 3-5 years of experience in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Proficiency in ARGUS and MS Office applications.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and organizational capabilities.

Primary Duties:
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Developing financial projections for both existing portfolios and potential acquisitions using Argus Enterprise software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintaining comprehensive financial models that document various scenarios and assumptions.
  • Preparing cash flow analyses and assisting in quarterly valuations and client reporting.
  • Participating in meetings with senior management and preparing formal investment opportunity overviews.
  • Conducting market analysis and producing detailed forecasts of income and expenses.
  • Auditing leases and historical financial statements to identify key operational impacts.
