Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the leadership team by shaping the business development strategy and mentoring team members to enhance their sales and relationship-building skills.
  • Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to build awareness and generate leads for our elder care services. Engage with potential referral sources, community leaders, and partners to expand our network and client base.
  • Client Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to client onboarding. Utilize CRM systems to track interactions, manage leads, and optimize follow-up processes to ensure successful conversions.
  • Referral-Based Relationships: Cultivate and maintain consultative, referral-based relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the elder care industry. Demonstrate a deep understanding of client needs and effectively communicate the value of our services.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. Provide regular reports on business development activities, outcomes, and strategic insights to the leadership team.
  • Professional Presence: Represent Sage Eldercare Solutions with a high level of professionalism and credibility. Effectively communicate our mission, services, and value proposition to potential clients, partners, and referral sources.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years in business development, sales, or a related role within the elder care or healthcare industry. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and developing strategic partnerships.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Social Work, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in elder care or healthcare management are a plus.
  • Experience with Customer Resource Management (CRM) systems to manage client interactions, track sales processes, and analyze data to drive business decisions.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain consultative, referral-based relationships with healthcare professionals, community leaders, and potential clients.
  • Comprehensive understanding of elder care services, including home care, therapeutic activities, and care management. Familiarity with the Bay Area's healthcare landscape and referral networks is preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to inspire and lead teams, manage change, and deliver results. Professional presence with a knack for effectively engaging with stakeholders and representing the organization.
  • Proactive, innovative, and capable of working independently while being a collaborative team player. Passionate about improving the quality of life for older adults and committed to delivering exceptional service.
