Prepared Foods Team Leader

At Whole Foods Market - Tribeca, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Prepared Foods Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our prepared foods department, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of food service professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the prepared foods department operates efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of products, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and support their career growth.
- Experience: 24+ months retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong operational and inventory management skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Proficient in Microsoft Office and operations-related applications.
- Certifications: Food safety certification, with the ability to obtain certification within 6 months if not already certified.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending. Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and temperatures up to 90°F.
- Work Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
