The Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the Respiratory Department, ensuring that high-quality care is delivered to all patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Respiratory Department to ensure efficient service delivery
- Administer therapeutic respiratory interventions to patients as required
- Facilitate and support bronchoscopy procedures
- Conduct orientation, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing staff development initiatives
- Manage the inventory, procurement, and maintenance of respiratory equipment
- Collaborate with cardiopulmonary services to enhance patient care
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to align with organizational objectives
- Ensure adherence to all organizational policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of four years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with healthcare professionals
- Proven leadership abilities and a strong commitment to compliance
- Educational qualifications in respiratory care
- Appropriate licensure and certifications in the field
