POSITION SUMMARY:
As a VFX Coordinator, you will serve as a key liaison for producers and internal teams throughout the various phases of post-production. The ideal candidate will facilitate the flow of shots among teams, coordinate daily reviews, and communicate status updates to ensure timely project delivery.

MAIN DUTIES:
The selected candidate will provide assistance to the project team under the direction of supervisors and producers. They will possess a solid understanding of post-production processes and be responsible for scheduling and tracking the progress of tasks assigned to artists (or sequences). Additionally, the candidate will monitor and maintain revisions while conveying client feedback to producers and lead artists. Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating closely with artists to ensure tasks are completed and ready for review by producers and leads.
  • Coordinating all client deliveries, both physical and digital, through approved client systems (Aspera, Frame.IO, etc.) with the VFX assistance team.
  • Maintaining task lists and logs of all deliveries.
  • Managing meeting schedules and taking notes for the team as necessary.
  • Setting up dailies and client review sessions to capture creative feedback and track client notes.
  • Assisting in the ingestion of assets for artists to utilize.
WHAT YOU BRING:
The ideal candidate should be a reliable team player with a positive attitude and the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments. They will work closely with the VFX Producer to achieve the highest creative and technical standards. Additional desired qualifications include:
  • Experience with production tracking and asset management software (preferably Shotgun and Ceta).
  • Experience managing schedules in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and applications.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate interdepartmental needs and schedules, maintaining a consistent standard of excellence in all business communications.
  • Ability to make independent decisions with a high level of creativity.
  • Experience in post-production and finishing processes, along with a general understanding of software used for Compositing, 3D modeling, Animation, and VFX (e.g., After Effects, C4D, Flame, Maya, Houdini, Unreal Engine, etc.) is a plus.

The benefits for eligible part-time employees working 25 or more hours per week and full-time employees in the US include a comprehensive package of health, retirement, and insurance benefits and paid time off. The benefits for eligible project hires and part-time employees working less than 25 hours per week in the US include retirement, select insurance benefits, and where required by law, health benefits.
