Position Summary:

The Reinsurance Manager will engage with multiple departments across Aspida, including Financial Reporting, Actuarial Reinsurance, Actuarial Valuation, Investment Accounting, and Treasury. This role is essential for ensuring precise and timely operational settlement statements, managing intricate reinsurance transactions, and overseeing various special projects. The position plays a crucial role in the execution and ongoing management of corporate strategic reinsurance treaties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily reinsurance administration activities.
  • Collaborate with business partners to propose solutions for complex reinsurance transactions.
  • Manage the preparation of significant reinsurance settlements and participate in related disbursement processes.
  • Act as the primary operational contact for administration.
  • Contribute to strategic departmental planning and ensure execution through collaboration.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators to assess operational efficiency.
  • Work with reinsurance leadership to evaluate and implement new administration processes.
  • Facilitate collaboration by sharing relevant reinsurance administration information.
  • Lead process enhancement initiatives to establish reliable and efficient operations.
  • Coordinate with the Financial Reporting team to integrate reinsurance settlement processes.
  • Participate in corporate modernization and financial transformation projects.
  • Ensure the design and execution of internal controls for administration.
  • Analyze administrative results of key treaties with stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present regular and ad hoc reports for management.
  • Lead various special projects related to administration.
  • Provide updates on special projects to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in reinsurance administration.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Preferred reinsurance administration designation.
