Job Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor

Skjodt-Barrett Foods is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team in Indiana. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for leading a team of QA lab technicians and overseeing daily QA activities to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day QA operations, including managing quality control processes, implementing standard operating procedures, and fostering a collaborative and professional team environment.
  • Lead the QA team, including approving time cards, scheduling technicians, and providing initial onboarding and ongoing training to ensure adoption of new procedures.
  • Maintain and optimize standards, including conducting tests and internal audits, completing associated documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven QA Supervisor experience in a food manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of food safety requirements and HACCP training.
  • Leadership expertise, including calm under pressure, ability to make sound decisions, and influence without authority.
  • Integrity and accountability, including creative problem-solving, analytical approach, and ability to work with urgency and enthusiasm.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes in food manufacturing, including experience with Dommers, pest control, and specific testing procedures.
