Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our team at Talnt. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough line inspections prior to, during, and after production runs.
  • Oversee production lines to confirm compliance with labeling, coding, weight, and packaging specifications.
  • Keep detailed records of raw materials and finished products, ensuring accurate tracking from receipt to dispatch.
  • Implement and manage protocols for products that are on hold, as well as rework procedures for non-compliant items.
  • Work collaboratively with shipping and production teams to address quality control issues.
  • Utilize various analytical instruments to conduct tests and analyses, including swabbing, ATP & EMP testing, pH measurements, and allergen assessments.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of three years' experience in quality assurance or quality control within the food, pharmaceutical, or similar manufacturing sectors.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and foundational principles of food safety and quality.
  • In-depth knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), traceability, allergen management, and equipment calibration.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proven capacity for professional growth and development within the quality control sector.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a food science or related discipline.
  • Experience with a range of analytical tools used in quality assessment.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Proactive mindset towards problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
