Key Responsibilities of the Sanitation Supervisor:
- Oversee the safe operational practices and conduct of production team members, providing guidance, motivation, and corrective feedback as necessary.
- Design and uphold effective sanitation protocols, including Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs), training resources, and safety measures.
- Foster the development of sanitation team members while identifying potential future leaders within the organization.
- Ensure comprehensive readiness for both internal and external audits at all facilities.
- Collaborate with the Food Safety team to fulfill Microbiological and Chemical validation requirements set by clients.
- Achieve daily production targets for pounds and cases of scheduled products efficiently.
- Strive to surpass all quality and food safety benchmarks established by Request Foods and its clientele.
- Meet all predetermined manufacturing objectives as outlined by management, including metrics such as downtime, hours worked versus reported, safety performance, schedule adherence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications for the Ideal Sanitation Supervisor:
- A minimum of three years of leadership experience within the food industry.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team, inspiring and coaching members towards shared objectives.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in computer applications is essential for successful team leadership.
- Exceptional follow-up abilities, with a strong sense of urgency and a commitment to servant leadership.
