About the Role

Palantir Technologies is seeking a skilled Product Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Product Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Health and Stability: Develop a deep understanding of Palantir's products and processes, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues that impact product stability.
  • Incident Response: Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, responsible for coordinating Palantir's response to mission-critical incidents, ensuring efficient resolution with minimal customer impact.
  • Technical Operations: Collaborate with customer-facing, product, and infrastructure teams on the development and deployment of scalable, reliable software for our customers.
  • Reliability Engineering: Develop and implement strategies to prevent issues, reduce operational overhead, and leverage data to understand the largest sources of reliability risk.
  • Stability Improvement: Deliver end-to-end improvements to stability by proactively preventing issues via telemetry and automation and directly reducing the need for reactive support.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Make data-driven decisions about investments in stability and reliability.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or other technical field.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills, ability to break down and explain complex concepts, and strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with dynamic objectives that require creative thinking to address product and customer needs.

  • Competitive Compensation: Estimated salary range for this position is $82,000 - $140,000/year.
