Careers@Gov is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of IT security strategies and architectures to protect our systems and data. The role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, as well as providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or computer science, with at least 8 years of experience in IT security. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining security architectural principles and policy, as well as designing and implementing security solutions for both enterprise and cloud environments. Experience with DevSecOps methodologies and processes is preferred. The role will also involve working with emerging technologies to design and implement security solutions for cloud native applications. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of information security, application design, high availability architectures, and networking.
