About the Position

The Virginia Department of Human Resource Management is seeking a highly skilled Intelligence Analyst Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for directing and supervising the Watch Center and Criminal Activity Team in the Virginia Fusion Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise the Watch Center and Criminal Activity Team in the Virginia Fusion Center.
  • Ensure procedures and policies are followed and analysis and response to inquiries is professional and prompt.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to share intelligence and best practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the effectiveness of the Watch Center and Criminal Activity Team.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • Considerable knowledge of research and analysis techniques.
  • Working knowledge of management and leadership principles, and supervisory practices.
  • Skill in operating computers and using Microsoft applications and analytical software to produce maps, text, tables, graphs, and charts.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, summarize, interpret and communicate information and technical data orally and in writing.
  • Experience in government, business, or criminal justice to include analytical experience and criminal analytical training.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and ability to obtain a federal security clearance.
  • Requires three (3) year commitment to the Virginia Fusion Center and ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience in law enforcement, intelligence community, or public safety field.
  • Public safety experience or other broad governmental experience.
