Position Overview

The Tax Analyst will oversee tax accounting responsibilities, ensuring adherence to GAAP and local reporting standards. Key duties include the preparation of corporate tax returns, supporting tax planning initiatives, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations, all while delivering accurate and timely tax reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares and evaluates monthly and quarterly tax accruals for both domestic and international jurisdictions.
  • Gathers and analyzes financial data to prepare federal and state income tax returns.
  • Collaborates with global tax professionals to interpret local tax regulations.
  • Contributes to tax planning strategies and implements process enhancements.
  • Engages in departmental internal controls and compliance activities.
  • Conducts research and analysis, providing insights and recommendations for tax policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a high level of accuracy while meeting stringent deadlines.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4-7 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 3 years focused on tax accounting.
Skills and Abilities

Required:
  • Proficient in Excel, with strong Query and Pivot table capabilities.
  • Intermediate knowledge of ASC applications.
  • Exhibits flexibility, initiative, and accountability in all tasks.
  • Intermediate proficiency in both oral and written communication.
  • Ability to adapt to new methodologies and work effectively under pressure.
  • Intermediate skills in investigation, analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Able to promote customer service and effective problem resolution.

The salary range for this position is approximately $74,745 annually, based on qualifications, skills, experience, and market factors.
