About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Services Coordinator to join our team at Legrand North America. As a key member of our Field Services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily business tasks to ensure that all service operations are scheduled, completed, and invoiced to the customer.
  • Create and issue Purchase Orders to 3rd party contractors.
  • Ensure the right people and right equipment are scheduled to the right location at the right time.
  • Responsible for handling order entry that may be received via email or phone.
  • Support the sales team by answering any technical questions surrounding our services scope of works.
  • Responsible for resolving customer service issues, including providing technical assistance, confirming on-site service dates, and getting on-site requirements prior to the work being performed.
  • Manage general administrative tasks, including providing literature and other sales materials to the sales force, working with marketing to coordinate service-specific events, and working with purchasing and AP/AR to ensure proper invoicing and other functions as necessary.
  • Work closely with other departments and maintain a basic business acumen.
  • Manage the Load Bank rental fleet scheduling and invoicing.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service and relationship skills.
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to understand customer needs.
  • Excellent MS Office skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing superior customer service, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage one's own time.
  • Actively looking for ways to help others.
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in sales or a customer service role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to learn and apply the knowledge gained.
  • Experience working in ERP and/or Salesforce databases preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Work performed in an office setting.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Travel up to 20% of the time.
