Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to ensure consistent, high-quality customer service.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to guide staff in their roles.
  • Welcome guests warmly and sincerely, addressing their needs with a positive demeanor.
  • Manage the registration process efficiently, ensuring accurate information is captured.
  • Handle guest accounts during check-out, addressing any concerns with professionalism.
  • Process payments accurately and manage cash transactions responsibly.
  • Respond promptly to phone inquiries, relaying messages and information to guests.
  • Remain composed during busy periods, serving as a role model for the team.
  • Resolve guest complaints through thorough investigation and effective solutions.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse customers.
  • Basic mathematical proficiency and experience with calculators for financial transactions.
  • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in using computer systems for data entry and information retrieval.
  • Ability to stand and move around the front desk area for extended periods.
  • Awareness of emergency situations and the ability to respond appropriately.
  • Capacity to prepare detailed reports on room availability and revenue.
  • Analytical skills to make informed decisions and judgments.
