Job Summary

The DelMonte Hotel Group is seeking a highly skilled Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As a Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing all activities of the beverage department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of beverage quality and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct all activities of the beverage department, including inventory management, ordering, and inventory control.
  • Conduct monthly inventory to ensure that all alcoholic beverages are accounted for and accurately recorded.
  • Coordinate the movement of beverages and equipment per restaurant and catering operations, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Responsible for providing the overall operational and financial responsibility of beverage outlets, including managing budgets and controlling costs.
  • Maintain the highest standards of beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits through excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager regarding beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory management.
  • Responsible for drink menu development, including creating new menu items and updating existing ones to meet customer preferences.
  • Monitor beverage inventory and pricing on a daily basis, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal profitability.
  • Develop and institute beverage training programs for the F&B team, ensuring that all staff members are knowledgeable and skilled in beverage preparation and service.
  • Conduct training on state and local beverage laws and regulations, including knowledge of proper customer service of all alcohol products.
  • Provide a safe and reliable environment for customers and employees, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Possess a drive to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a positive experience.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • College Degree preferred, with a focus on hospitality, food and beverage, or a related field.
  • Food & Beverage and/or Restaurant experience preferred, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance, adhering to company standards.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting to set up and execute events.
  • Willingness and drive to exceed guest expectations, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to effectively listen and take direction from management, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
  • Must be punctual and dependable, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to delegate duties when necessary, empowering team members to take ownership and responsibility.
  • Ability to be calm in stressful situations, maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism.
  • Ability to perform under pressure effectively for extensive periods of time, while maintaining a high level of quality and service.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English Language in order to interact with staff and guests.
