Job Title: Senior Environmental Scientist and Permitting Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Environmental Scientist and Permitting Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Biological Resources Team, you will be responsible for leading permitting efforts and providing technical expertise to support project development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead permitting efforts for environmental projects, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on environmental permitting and compliance
  • Develop and implement permitting strategies to support project goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to navigate permitting challenges and ensure successful project outcomes
  • Manage and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental permitting and compliance
  • Strong technical expertise in environmental sciences, including biology, ecology, and environmental policy
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and experience driving 4WD vehicles off-road
