Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Enterprise Sales Executive to become a vital part of our expanding Insurance Sales division at Nearmap.

In this role, you will focus on promoting and selling subscriptions for our innovative enterprise SaaS platform tailored for the insurance sector to leading U.S. property insurance carriers, encompassing both personal and commercial lines.

Key Responsibilities

- Meet and exceed sales objectives.

- Take charge of crafting and executing effective sales strategies while providing regular updates on progress towards targets.

- Develop a comprehensive insurance-focused plan with specific, measurable goals, including key targets and timelines for success.

- Initiate and cultivate new business opportunities through diligent prospecting, guiding potential clients through the sales pipeline.

- Identify critical purchasing timelines and partnerships within existing and prospective accounts to streamline the buying process.

- Create detailed account plans for major clients, incorporating influence matrices and organizational structures, while documenting your strategic approach for success.

- Align your prospect influences with our key executives, knowing when and how to leverage these connections to advance your opportunities.

- Clearly articulate and communicate the company's value proposition, technology, processes, and relevant partnerships.


Throughout the enterprise sales cycle, you will map out the client's internal business processes and collaborate cross-functionally with internal resources to customize solutions that meet their needs.

Relationship Management

- Establish and nurture strong relationships with leads and prospects throughout lengthy enterprise sales cycles.

- Familiarity with RFP processes is essential.

- Travel may be required, with potential on-site engagements with prospects up to 30-50% of the time.

- Collaborate with partners within your strategic accounts to drive mutual success.

- Work effectively as part of a team, engaging in discussions to address business challenges and demonstrating a commitment to supporting colleagues.

- Maintain a high standard of quality and timeliness in all reporting, forecasting, and administrative tasks.


Ensure that customer data in Salesforce is meticulously maintained, including customer information, opportunity details, and records of customer interactions.
