Job Title: Strategic Account Executive Insurance

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Strategic Account Executive to join our growing Insurance Sales team at Nearmap. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling subscriptions of our enterprise SaaS insurance software platform to U.S. tier 1 property insurance carriers, both personal and commercial lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales targets and build an Insurance focused plan with measurable objectives.
  • Initiate and develop new business through prospecting potential customers, moving them through the sales pipeline.
  • Identify key purchasing schedules and partnerships in current and target accounts to expedite and simplify purchasing.
  • Build account plans for major accounts, including influence matrices, org structures, and document your strategy to succeed.
  • Map prospect influences to key executives and leverage them in opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate the company's value proposition, technology, process, and partnerships.
  • Map customer internal business processes and work cross-functionally to tailor a personalized solution.
  • Establish and maintain close relationships with leads and prospects throughout long enterprise sales processes.
  • Travel up to 30-50% to be on-site with prospects.
  • Ensure high-quality and timely reporting, forecasting, and administration tasks.
  • Maintain accurate customer data in Salesforce.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of selling enterprise deals.
  • Proven B2B SaaS sales experience within the P&C insurtech or insurance industry.
  • Extensive new business generation experience, with a track record of closing tier 1 deals.
  • Demonstrated strategic solution selling experience.
  • High competence with CRM data hygiene (ideally Salesforce).
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and a hunger to close deals.
  • Strong insurance acumen and ability to work with and sell to C-Suite Executives.
  • Ability to coach and close at all levels, from subscription renewals to high-value complex sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, including value selling and an organized approach to the market.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related business discipline or equivalent business experience.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 30-50%.
