At the International Rescue Committee, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Coo Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Resettlement Services department, you will play a critical role in leading a team of caseworkers to address barriers to safety and wellness for vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of caseworkers to develop and implement individualized service plans for clients.
  • Train and supervise caseworkers to determine client eligibility for programming and conduct intake assessments.
  • Evaluate client progress and identify new needs and actions required.
  • Guide caseworkers to reach client close out within 90 days of enrollment or provide referrals to other programs.
  • Conduct community outreach and maintain a network of service providers.
  • Liaise with local and state level refugee coordinators and health coordinators to ensure client needs are met.
  • Guide staff in response to client crises and intervene in situations where staff or client safety is a concern.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, or related field of study.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of case management experience with similar populations and/or client needs.
  • Strong relationship building, diplomacy, and networking skills.
  • Demonstrated success working and communicating effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in language(s) spoken by client group preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ability to use the internet and other digital tools.
Working Environment:

A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and 'field' time within the service delivery area.
