Radiology Clinical Operations Director

As the Director of Radiology Clinical Operations, you will provide strategic oversight and leadership for the Radiology & Biomedical Imaging Service Line. This role requires collaboration with modality leaders and system business unit leaders to execute business unit strategic initiatives. You will serve as the primary point of contact for radiology services, ensuring service level standards are met. This position has dotted line accountability to the business unit COO and works cross-functionally to align system, service line, and business unit standards and goals.
Key Responsibilities- Design and oversee administrative operations across multiple clinical professional services.
- Accountable for the overall administrative planning and coordination of human, fiscal, and material resources.
- Establish operational objectives and action plans.
- Assist with the development and implementation of new policies and programs.
- Direct regulatory compliance, quality, and safety initiatives.
- Significant management experience in a complex healthcare organization.
- Thorough knowledge of healthcare delivery models, business and strategic planning, financial management, and organizational development.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with medical center leaders and external agencies.
- Ability to establish and utilize metrics to support operational and process improvement.
- Thorough knowledge of budget development, financial analysis, and reporting techniques.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence others.
- Ability to build and maintain a climate of trust and collaboration.
