Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate all production machinery.
  • Exhibit the capability to achieve production targets on designated tasks within the specified timeframe.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization in the designated work areas.
  • Ensure safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process by adhering to all safety protocols and conducting manual and visual inspections of products as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workspace before, during, and after shifts.
  • May be tasked with sorting products as necessary to guarantee quality shipments.
  • Assist with equipment changeovers as needed.
  • Participate in cross-training across various operations, including presses, palletizers, seamers, and/or slitters.
  • Collaborate directly with team members to achieve safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Possess the willingness and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other organizational levels to foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, and measurement taking.
  • Availability to work evening or night shifts and weekends as required by business needs.
