The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is looking for dedicated full-time and part-time Cooks to become part of our 46 Below Cafe and Catering team at Titletown in Green Bay, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be integral to the food preparation process for guest orders and will collaborate closely with serving team members. Our culinary team is committed to innovation, teamwork, and the pursuit of culinary excellence.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $15.00

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare food according to specifications before and during service operations.
  • Accurately measure and portion all food items; adhere to portion sizes, quality standards, and departmental policies.
  • Cook all food to required specifications in a timely manner.
  • Utilize kitchen equipment effectively to prepare food items, including knives, slicers, pots, pans, and ovens.
  • Maintain proper food temperatures and ensure correct food storage.
  • Ensure the freshness and quality of all menu items.
  • Package all products according to specifications.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed.
  • Keep workstation and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and adequately stocked.
  • Comply with all health codes and sanitation regulations.
  • Set up and operate kitchen equipment.
  • Complete end-of-day inventory and other duties in accordance with company procedures.
  • Utilize waste control guidelines and document all waste.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • High school education is preferred; participation in culinary programs is a plus.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a back-of-the-house food service position is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.
  • Friendly demeanor and ability to adhere to service standards.
  • Familiarity with knife handling is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and attentive.
  • Capable of following procedures and taking directions.
  • Basic math skills for recipe measurements and proportions.
Physical Requirements
  • Manual dexterity to chop, mix, blend, and whip various foods.
  • Able to lift and carry large pans weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of handling kitchen equipment safely.
  • Ability to move quickly and manage multiple orders.
  • Must stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
  • Frequently reach, twist, bend, and squat.
  • Occasionally push and pull to move equipment.
  • Work in a kitchen environment with moderate to high noise levels.
  • Work in hot and humid conditions.
  • Handle sharp knives and hot equipment.
  • Be aware of potential hazards such as cuts, burns, and slips.
  • Frequently immerse hands in water.
Shift Details

Available shifts include day, evening, holidays, weekends, and event-based schedules.
