The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking dedicated full-time and part-time Cooks to become integral members of our 46 Below Cafe and Catering team at Titletown in Green Bay, Wisconsin. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation for guest orders while collaborating effectively with serving team members. Hourly Rate: $15.00

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare food according to specifications before and during operations.
  • Accurately measure and portion all food items; adhere to portion sizes, quality standards, and departmental policies.
  • Cook all food to the correct specifications in a timely manner.
  • Utilize kitchen equipment properly to prepare food items.
  • Maintain proper food temperatures and ensure correct food storage.
  • Ensure the freshness and quality of all menu items.
  • Package all products according to specifications.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed.
  • Keep workstation and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and adequately stocked.
  • Follow and uphold all health codes and sanitation regulations.
  • Set up and operate kitchen equipment.
  • Complete end-of-day inventory and other opening/closing duties as per company checklists.
  • Utilize waste control guidelines and document all waste.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • High school education is preferred; participation in culinary programs is a plus.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of previous experience in a food service position is preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend recipes and food abbreviations.
  • Friendly demeanor; ability to adhere to service standards.
  • Familiarity with knife handling is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and attentive.
  • Capable of following procedures and taking directions.
  • Basic math skills; ability to understand and follow recipe measurements.
Physical Requirements
  • Manual dexterity sufficient for food preparation tasks.
  • Able to lift and carry large pans weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely.
  • Ability to move quickly and manage multiple orders.
  • Standing and walking for the entire shift.
  • Frequent reaching, twisting, bending, and squatting.
  • Occasional pushing and pulling of equipment.
  • Work in a kitchen environment with moderate to high noise levels.
  • Exposure to hot and damp conditions.
  • Contact with sharp knives and hot equipment.
  • Potential hazards include cuts, burns, and slips.
  • Frequent immersion of hands in water.
Shift Details

Available shifts include day, evening, holidays, weekends, and event-based schedules.
