The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking dedicated full-time and part-time Cooks to enhance our 46 Below Cafe and Catering operations at Titletown in Green Bay, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a crucial part in food preparation for guest orders while collaborating effectively with the serving team.

Compensation

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare food according to specifications before and during service.
  • Accurately measure and portion all food items, adhering to quality standards and departmental policies.
  • Cook all food items to proper specifications in a timely manner.
  • Utilize kitchen equipment effectively to prepare various food items.
  • Maintain proper food temperatures and ensure correct food storage.
  • Ensure the freshness and quality of all menu offerings.
  • Package all products according to specifications.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as directed.
  • Keep the workstation and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and well-stocked.
  • Adhere to all health codes and sanitation regulations.
  • Set up and operate kitchen equipment.
  • Complete end-of-day inventory and other duties as per company procedures.
  • Implement waste control guidelines and document all waste.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • High school education is preferred; enrollment in culinary programs is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a back-of-the-house food service role is desirable.
  • Ability to read and comprehend recipes and food abbreviations.
  • Friendly demeanor with a commitment to excellent service standards.
  • Familiarity with knife handling is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and attentive.
  • Capable of following procedures and taking directions.
  • Basic math skills for recipe measurements and proportions.
Physical Requirements
  • Manual dexterity to chop, mix, blend, and whip various foods.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy pans, up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable operating kitchen equipment safely.
  • Ability to move quickly and manage multiple orders.
  • Standing and walking for the duration of the shift.
  • Occasional reaching, twisting, bending, and squatting.
  • Occasional pushing and pulling of equipment.
  • Work in a kitchen environment with moderate to high noise levels.
  • Exposure to hot and humid conditions.
  • Regular contact with sharp knives and hot equipment.
  • Awareness of potential hazards, including cuts and burns.
  • Frequent immersion of hands in water.
Shift Details

Available shifts include day, evening, holidays, weekends, and event-based scheduling.
