Spectrum is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Account Executive to join our team. As a Business Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect for new customers and achieve sales and revenue goals through successful sales of bundled services.
- Develop and implement a Territory Plan to expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
- Place orders through order management software and work with the Account Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely submission of sales orders, contracts, and billing forms.
- Hand off customer service and non-sales related client inquiries to the Customer Service department and focus on selling.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
- Meet and exceed performance standards as defined by the department Standards of Performance (SOP) and the Spectrum Way Sales Model.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing cycle model.
- Business-to-business sales experience.
- Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Bilingual Spanish.
