Key Responsibilities
  • Anticipate patient needs and prepare patients for clinical visits in an efficient and organized manner.
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care, including documentation, vital signs, lab testing, and procedures.
  • Answer patient calls and respond to patient inquiries under the direction of nurses and clinicians.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as completing patient forms, scheduling appointments, and scanning patient information.
  • Provide interpreting services for Spanish-speaking patients, if qualified.
Requirements
  • Three or more years of experience as a Medical Assistant, with a diploma from an accredited program or certification as a Medical Assistant.
  • Basic Life Support Certification required.
  • Proficient computer skills and thorough knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
