Job Opportunity

Integrated Wound Care is seeking a skilled Part-Time Medical Assistant to support our team in providing high-quality wound care services to long-term care and rehabilitation facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting physicians and nurses during wound care rounds, managing medical supplies, and maintaining accurate patient information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record patients' wound information as dictated by the provider
  • Assist with wound care procedures and provide support to healthcare professionals
  • Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as sending documentation to the relevant department
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program
  • Current Medical Assistant certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records systems
  • Some experience in wound care is preferred
