Job Summary:

Actalent is seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Assistant to join our team in New Haven County, Connecticut. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide exceptional clinical and administrative support to patients and clinicians in a fast-paced outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment
  • Prepare for examinations and provide routine information related to medical treatments and procedures
  • Measure and record vital signs, collect specimens, and prepare examining rooms
  • Select and lay out medical supplies, maintain medical equipment, and record and report patient information
  • Retrieve laboratory test results and patient files, order and maintain inventory of supplies, and perform clerical functions related to medical activities

Requirements:
  • Medical Assistant Diploma from an accredited program
  • 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience
  • Medical Assistant Certification
  • Specialty experience (a plus)
