About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
    • Develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures to maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
  • Culinary Operations
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items to ensure consistency and quality.
    • Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies to maintain optimal levels.
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
    • Manage guest complaints and feedback to ensure that issues are resolved promptly and to the guest's satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; 5 years of experience in a senior kitchen management role preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge with the ability to develop and implement new menu items.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and management.
