Key Responsibilities- Assist the Executive Chef in carrying out day-to-day operations of the deli kitchen, ensuring seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.
- Merchandise prepared foods in cases, hot tables, and other food stations, maintaining a visually appealing and organized display.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items, specials, and promotions that drive sales and customer engagement.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment with proven catering experience (at least 1-3 years).
- Ability to follow recipe specifications as defined in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
- Serv-Safe certification is a plus.
- Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Local candidates only.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 50 pounds.
- Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
- Walking: Up to 8 hours per day.
- Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.
