Broadcast Engineering Fellowship Program

The Broadcast Engineering Fellowship Program honors the legacy of Martin "Marty" Faubell, former Vice President of Engineering at Hearst Television. This program invites applications from individuals passionate about the technical aspects of television news and radio broadcasting.

Program Overview

This fellowship aims to immerse students in cutting-edge technology while involving them in various facets of television production. The focus will be on engineering, information technology, and their critical roles within a live broadcasting environment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be in their final year of college or technical school.
  • A demonstrated commitment to Engineering and Information Technology is essential.
  • A strong academic performance is required, along with two recommendations from educators or internship supervisors.
  • Willingness to engage in a 10-week post-graduation experience at a Hearst Television station is necessary, including potential relocation.
